From swimming with blue sharks and searching for hammerheads to exploring volcanic caves, encountering manta rays and, for our scuba expedition, venturing offshore to the legendary Princess Alice Bank — every day is an invitation to discover something new.

Many encounters take place around 5 metres when conditions allow, creating beautiful natural light and exceptional opportunities for underwater photography.
No scuba certification required.

An expedition-style week for certified divers, including the possibility of Princess Alice Bank.
GO WHERE THE BLUE GETS DEEPER
An expedition-style week for certified divers seeking extraordinary pelagic encounters and some of the Azores’ most spectacular underwater environments.
The week may include offshore diving, sharks, volcanic reefs and caves, with the possibility of an expedition to Princess Alice Bank, where manta rays and other large pelagic animals may appear from the blue.

Throughout the retreat, I’ll be photographing and filming our time in the water, capturing the wildlife encounters, underwater landscapes and the moments you experience along the way.
You don’t need to spend your week worrying about your camera.

MORE THAN THE OCEAN THE ISLAND IS PART OF THE ADVENTURE.
When we’re not in the water, there is another side of the Azores waiting to be explored.
Optional land adventures may include climbing Mount Pico or exploring the dramatic volcanic caldera, allowing you to experience the landscape that created these islands.
Optional experiences can be added to your retreat.

Marine wildlife encounters are never guaranteed. Animals move freely through their natural environment, and conditions can change. Our goal is to create respectful opportunities to experience these animals in the wild while adapting our plans to the ocean.
